I’m Nils Otte, a requirements & usability engineer and a sociologist. Software is build and used by human beeings and it is beeing more and more embedded in our everyday lifes. It is now paramount to consider human, organizational and even societal factors in software development. As a sociologist I contribute unique views and skills to the software development process. Building on qualitative research methods to elicitate requirements I take a user centered and holistic view on digital systems.
